Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike 2026
I (Adam) am taking time off this fall for a 100-day Appalachian Trail thru-hike attempt. I’ll be gone 8/31 until sometime in early/mid December. What this means for your sandal orders:
All Ready-Made sandals (Alchemy, Perception, Camp) will be available and shipping in 5 business days. Elizabeth will be holding things down at home, sewing and lacing sandals, and shipping them out.
All Made-to-order sandals can be ordered while I’m away and I’ll build and ship them when I return. Depending on order volume they will ship in December or early January. Elizabeth will be able to help you plan your order via email.
We are a small company committed to making you a quality pair of sandals that you’ll love! All sandals are custom-made by hand. We make sandals each week and strive to ship all orders within 10 business days of receiving your order. However, in the busy summer months, sales, promotions, and vacations, we can sometimes get a bit backed up. Lead times are kept up to date on this page.

Can I re-lace my sandals to a different buckle style?
Clip buckle to minimalist buckle: The minimalist buckle is the one all current sandals use. If you already have a pair of our sandals with the clip buckle and want to try the minimalist buckle, follow these instructions to re-lace.
Are they supportive?
Simply put: no. Minimalist footwear is essentially just something to protect your foot from pointy things. No support means your foot works as it was designed to do (and gets stronger!)
Can I customize my sandals?
